RW Alley Book Signing Tour stops in Ogunquit. Introducing Firefighters to the Rescue!

You are in for a real treat during Ogunquitfest this year!   R.W. Alley will be at the store on Saturday October 21st for a book signing.  Not only will all his Paddington books be available for purchase but be one of the first to enjoy his newest creation Firefighters to the Rescue!

For fans of Richard Scarry and Busytown, here is a funny and informative picture book all about firefighters.  R.W. Alley has created lively animal characters, a rollicking story and detail-packed illustrations.

The officers of Breezy Valley answer the call to protect their beloved town. A little history about the Paddington Series......On October 13, 1958, Michael Bond published the first book about our favorite bear, A Bear Called Paddington. The novel was inspired by a stuffed bear Bond rescued from a department store shelf on Christmas Eve, and it took all of ten days to write.  RW Alley has been been drawing Paddington since 1997. Today, Paddington boasts an international following with some 70 titles translated into 30 languages, with 30 million copies sold.
