Quilter Elizabeth Thompson will showcase her homemade quilts and Christmas tree skirts at the Culture & Quilts Program Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Anchorage by the Sea Lightship Building at 125 Shore Road from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (https://sunshinequiltsbyel.wixsite.com/my-site.). Event is free. For every quilt ordered in the month of November Thompson will donate one child’s quilt to the nationally based non-profit Project Linus, which will distribute the quilts to children in need. (Check out: https://www.projectlinus.org/) Thompson’s work will remain on display until Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, by appointment. This will be the last event of 2022.
