Chris Van Dusen is a Maine author and illustrator of several highly acclaimed picture books, including the hugely popular Mercy Watson series. His newest Christmas Mercy book will be available!  His book, If I Built a Car won the 2006. We love Circus Ship, which is about a circus ship running aground off the coast of Maine, and the poor animals are left on their own, but they soon win over the wary townspeople with their kind, courageous ways. His newest book Big Truck Little Island is about a  big truck that gets stuck! How will the island residents get where they’re going? A tale of community and ingenuity and  inspired by a true story. Down by the sea with Mr Magee is Chris' first children book. All of these will be available for him to sign and personalize at the store on October 22nd from 11-1

The books will also be available to pre-order via phone or in store by filling out a form with the personalization information of each book purchased. Pre-order before your trip to Ogunquit and it will be waiting for you when you arrive after the event.

What to do:
Pre-order the books you would like  personalized from the Village Toy Funatic BEFORE October 21nd. You can do this by calling the store 207-646-7728 or by visiting the Village Toy Funatic in person to view the books being offered at 232 Main Street Ogunquit ME

Include any personalization (name only!) with your order, and Chris will inscribe and sign them. We will have a limited number of books so order early to assure availability. (we will post if we start to get close the limit, so order with confidence)
Books will be available to pick up on October 22 after the event.  If unable to pickup we can ship your purchase directly to you! (shipping charges will apply-please ask for more info)
