Book Signing with Local Pirate Captain Jay and Tiki

Ahoy Matey…. The Village Toy Funatic of Ogunquit Maine is delighted to announce that local Pirate Captain Jay and his Feathered Mate Tiki will be joining us in the store on July 26th from 4-6 for a book signing of his new book called "Captain Jay and the Misfit Crew."
Captain Jay Tucci is a longtime pirate entertainer as part of the Northeast Buccaneers and the Rogues Armada. And he's the author of a new children's book called Captain Jay and the Misfit Crew. The book is a story of a pirate and his crew, who were different than the rest and never given the same benefit as the other pirates. Join Captain Jay and his crew as they prove that just because you are different, it doesn't mean you can't do what everyone else can!
Learn about Jay's pirate history, how he deals with his own "misfit-ness", dealing with bullying, and the children's book publishing biz. Captain Jay will be signing his book, talking pirate, playing games and doing sword fighting on their plank!
Captain Jay Tucci has a passion for piracy and the history behind it. He has a talent for energizing the stories and histories of pirate lore into his conversation, and a passion to teach those young and old about how the life of a pirate was.
An amputee at age 16, he can be seen sporting his authentic wooden peg leg, along with his fine feathered friend, Tiki, on his shoulder. Captain Jay will challenge the young and old to sword training, create colorful balloon swords, and may throw parents into the Pillory on a whim
