Art in Nature: Block Printing

Join us for an afternoon of creativity! Block printing is a fun and easy way to create unique cards and decorate other paper goods. No experience is required. Participants will leave with their block print, new skills, and a set of their own handmade greeting cards!

All materials will be provided, including a Speedball Speedy Carve block. If you’re fast you can make and take two block prints by using both sides! Inspiration will also be provided. We will have examples of block printing designs that relate to the flora and fauna of Maine, which can be used to hand draw your own versions, or you can create from scratch!
