DESCRIPTION:Judith Woodbury will present a selection of artwork by Millie LaPerche. Millie LaPerche\, of North Reading and Ogunquit\, ME\, attended the Rhode Island School of Design\, she majored in Graphic Arts and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1944. During the 1970's\, she studied with Phil Perkins of Lynnfield\, doing mostly still life's and portraits in oils and had the opportunity to do some teaching at his studio. Millie exhibited at Lynnfield Art Guild and the Reading Art Association and received the Gold Award for a portrait in the Fall of 1974. Art was Millie's passion and she continued to paint into her late 80's.
