He will be featured in a closing reception Saturday\, August 27 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Lightship Building on Shore Road.\n\n \n\nThe list of local artists to appear at future installments of the Anchorage by the Sea's new monthly artist program "Culture & Cocktails" is growing with proceeds to benefit the Ogunquit Museum of American Art.\n\n \n\nSaturday\, September 10\, 2022 - Peter Dugovic (http://www.dugovic.com/) a painter\, printmaker\, sculptor and coppersmith\n\n \n\nSaturday\, October 1\, 2022 - astrophotography by Alan Jordan (http://alanjordan.org/astrophotography/index.html)\n\n \n\nSaturday\, November 12\, 2022 - Textile Arts (quilting and knitting from locally sourced sheep!) with Elizabeth and Allison Thompson (https://sunshinequiltsbyel.wixsite.com/my-site)\n\n \n\nSaturday\, December 10\, 2022 - Amy Kelly\, a fixture within the community at her TailSpinStudio in Perkin's Cove. Talespinstudio | Facebook\n\n \n\nIn 2023 look for photography by Aaron Ramsey and work from Claire Bigbee\, (https://www.clairebigbee.com/home) an artist and graphic designer that draws her inspiration from southern Maine's varied landscapes and changing seasons.\n\n \n\nThrough the program\, artists will be on hand one Saturday of each month from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to discuss their work with the public\, accompanied by area musicians and specialty cocktails in a relaxed setting. Each artist's work will remain on display in the Lightship Function Room by appointment. There is no charge for the event. Cocktails will be available for sale and proceeds will benefit the Ogunquit Art Association. Foot traffic is welcomed.
